The Easy24-33 v6 development system supports 14-, 18-, 20- and 28-pin PIC24 and dsPIC33 microcontrollers from Microchip. It comes with a PIC24F16KA102. The system features a USB 2.0 programmer with mikroICD and many peripheral modules such as Touch Sense, Serial RAM, EEPROM, etc.
On-Board USB 2.0 programmer with mikroICD (In-Circuit Debugger). mikroICD is a highly effective tool for Real-Time debugging at hardware level. The mikroICD enables you to execute a mikroC PRO, mikroPascal PRO or mikroBasic PRO program on a host PIC24 or dsPIC33 microcontroller and view variable values, Special Function Registers (SFRs), RAM and EEPROM memory modules while the program is running. There is also an ultra fast USB 2.0 PIC24 (dsPIC33) programmer for fast device programming that now supports more PIC24 and dsPIC33 microcontrollers.
Store up to 8 Mbit of data in M25P80 Serial Flash Memory with 25 MHz SPI Bus Interface. It suports over 100,000 Erase/Program Cycles per Sector and has over 20 Year Data Retention. You can store 8x256 bytes of configuration data or other data into on-board 24AA01 Serial EEPROM with I2C interface. On-board Serial RAM memory based on 23K640 offers you the power to store your variables and temporary calculation results, and therefore free on-chip RAM for other purposes.
LCD 2x16 can be easily connected via the on-board connectors.
77 push buttons and 77 LEDs are connected to all microcontrollers pins. DIP switch is used to separate port pins from pull-up/pull-down resistors. 2 potentiometers are provided for testing multiple A/D conversions. Inputs can be configured via jumpers.
RS-232 communication is enabled via DB9 connector and MAX232 level converter. USB UART module features the FT232RL interface between a USB device and the microcontroller. USB communication connectors are available for microcontrollers with USB facilities. CAN transceiver MCP2551 and 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 Transceiver Module (optional) are also available.
