Description:
Your first exposure to electrical engineering - the bread board. Who knew it would bring so much frustration?
This is your standard solderless breadboard. It works with a wide variety of wire gauges (29-20 AWG). As is standard for most of these breadboards, the power buses are disconnected in the middle; common practice is to use a few small jumper wires to tie them together.
A breadboard is used to make up temporary circuits for testing or to try out an idea. No soldering is required so it is easy to change connections and replace components. Parts will not be damaged so they will be available for re-use afterwards.
